The Crosbie Crew provides an inclusive environment for runners of all abilities to train, socialise and have fun. We support each other as we strive to achieve our goals; from 5km fun runs to marathons, track to trails.
Don’t forget to try us out for a few sessions before you sign up as a member!
What’s the cost?
The Crosbie Crew charges an annual fee of $70. This provides access to all facilitated training sessions and events (additional cost may apply for events). The Crosbie Crew membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
In 2019 we launched Crosbie Crew Sunbury branch. Qualified coaches lead a local training session each Wednesday evening as well as some weekend runs and social activities. For those wishing to join Crosbie Crew, but unable to attend any Melbourne based training sessions, a subsidised membership of $50 is offered for those attending Sunbury training sessions only.
Can I try before I buy?
You don’t have to be a member to start with the Crosbie Crew. The expectation is that if you still like coming along after your first few sessions you will take up our membership offer.
Do you have a minimum standard?
You don’t have to be an Olympic athlete to become a member of the Crosbie Crew. Whilst we welcome runners of all abilities, we highly recommend that you can comfortably run 5km before training with us. If you need assistance reaching this level, there are some great programs out there such as ‘Couch to 5k‘
You’ll have access to all the Crosbie Crew sessions, which are run by qualified coaches. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced runner, you’ll get the advice and support you need to achieve your next goal.
Discounts on gear
The crew is affiliated with a number of quality suppliers and, through our partnerships, you’ll get access to great discounts and special offers.
We partner with some of the best sports medicine practitioners in Melbourne. If you’re injured we can help refer you to the right person and ensure you get the support you need.
To be social
The Crosbie Crew is almost as much about socialising as it is about running. It’s a great way to meet new people with a common love for running (among other things!). We have a calendar chock full of social activities, check out our Facebook group for more info.
